RAPID PROGRESS EOOD specializes in the development and implementation of specialized industrial software programs and algorithms for biometric technologies using Artificial Intelligence (AI). The project proposal is aimed at increasing energy efficiency and ensuring the energy independence of the company, which specializes in the development of industrial software, biometric technologies, and Artificial Intelligence (AI). The main objective is to support the transition to ecologically clean energy through: The purchase and installation of a photovoltaic (PV) system with a capacity of 50 kW to generate electricity for own consumption, and its integration with an energy storage system (batteries) with a capacity of 66.3 kWh. The battery system will guarantee a stable power supply for critical IT systems and servers necessary for the development of software and AI algorithms, protecting against interruptions and data loss. This current project is in fulfillment of the objectives of the procedure "Energy Efficiency and Use of Energy from Renewable Sources in Enterprises"—to provide focused support to Bulgarian enterprises for improving their energy efficiency and promoting the use of Renewable Energy Sources (RES), thereby accelerating the private sector's transition to climate neutrality. To overcome the limitations to the company's future development, solar panels and electricity storage facilities will be installed. This will allow the company to use ecologically clean energy for its own needs and to store the surplus energy produced by the PV system as a supplementary energy source. This will ensure a stable energy supply, minimization of energy costs, and continuity of operations, which will make the company more competitive in the market. The investments under the procedure comply with the requirements of the "Do No Significant Harm" principle to the environment and will contribute to the country's ecological transition.
