STROYPROEKT EOOD is a company with headquarters and production facilities in Lom, Montana region. The main economic activity of the company is according to NACE-2008: 25.11 - Manufacture of metal structures and parts thereof. The company is one of the leaders in the region in the field of mechanical processing and manufacturing of metal structures, equipment, and individual elements. The production process in the company includes cutting, bending, drilling, welding, mechanical processing, and painting of metal elements. These processes require strictly controlled temperature and humidity conditions, as the quality of the welds, the adhesion of the coatings, and the final coating of the metal products are highly dependent on the microclimate in the room. Currently, the production workshop building has external walls without thermal insulation, which leads to significant heat loss during the winter months and overheating of the work areas in the summer. This has a negative impact on both the energy efficiency of production and the quality of the finished products and labor efficiency. Uneven temperature fluctuations and condensation in the rooms have a direct impact on the characteristics of the metals, the drying speed of the coatings, and the accuracy of mechanical processing. In order to increase energy efficiency, reduce energy costs, and create an optimal production environment, STROYPROEKT EOOD plans to implement the following investment measure: • Installation of thermal insulation on the exterior walls by installing sandwich panels with high insulation properties over a total area of 950 sq.m. in the production workshop. As a result of the project, STROYPROEKT EOOD will achieve higher energy and production efficiency, increase its competitiveness on the market, and contribute to the achievement of national and European energy efficiency and climate neutrality goals.
