CHUCHULIGA EOOD is a company based in Svoge, which owns a production facility where it carries out its main activity under NACE code 2562 – Mechanical processing of metal. The company specializes in the production of connecting and structural machine elements – pins, bolts, nuts, housings, and other metal parts designed for mechanical connection, fixing, and structural support in mechanical engineering. The company's production processes involve metalworking machines, compressor systems, technological lighting, and heating of production facilities, which leads to significant energy consumption and high operating costs. This has a significant impact on the cost of production and the competitiveness of the company on the market. In order to increase energy efficiency, reduce energy costs, and transition to more sustainable production, the company plans to implement a project that includes the following measures: • Construction of a 50 kW photovoltaic power plant (PVPP) to cover the company's own consumption. • Thermal insulation of the exterior walls of the production facility with sandwich panels to reduce heat loss and improve the energy efficiency of the building stock. • Installation of a 30 kW air-to-water heat pump, which will provide efficient heating and cooling of the premises, replacing conventional heating appliances with lower efficiency. • Purchase of an inverter-controlled compressor (7.5 kW) and a compressed air dryer (7.5 kW) – modern, highly energy-efficient equipment that will ensure more stable and economical operation of pneumatic systems and production machines. The implementation of the project will lead to a significant reduction in energy consumption, increase the competitiveness of CHUCHULIGA EOOD, and contribute to national and European decarbonization and sustainable development goals.
