Description

The project proposal of "TERA GRAND" EOOD is aimed at increasing energy efficiency and optimizing the use of energy from renewable sources in the company's activities, by implementing a modern system for storing and managing electricity.
The company carries out commercial activities in the field of selling non-food consumer goods (KID 46.49) and operates in a facility equipped with an existing photovoltaic power plant for its own electricity production. Currently, the energy produced by the power plant is not fully used, as there is no possibility for storage - excess energy is fed to the electricity distribution network during the day, and in the dark part of the day the company is powered by an external supplier at higher prices.
In order to overcome this inefficiency, the project provides for the delivery, installation and commissioning of 22 local energy storage facilities (batteries) in combination with inverter/s, each with a storage capacity of 5.12 kWh on the DC part. The batteries will be integrated into the photovoltaic installation and will provide the opportunity to accumulate the energy produced during the day and use it at night to power the heating, cooling systems and other electrical consumers in the facility.
The implementation of the project will lead to a significant reduction in electricity consumption from the external grid, an increase in the share of energy used from renewable sources, a reduction in energy costs and a significant contribution to environmental protection by reducing carbon emissions.
The investment will ensure higher energy independence, sustainability and efficiency of the enterprise, in full compliance with the objectives of procedure BG16RFPR001-2.004 and the policies for a green and sustainable energy transition.
