The project proposal “Improving the Energy Efficiency of ENERGO BR Ltd.” aims to enhance the company’s energy independence, reduce electricity costs, and increase its overall sustainability through the use of renewable energy sources and the implementation of energy-efficient technologies. The main economic activities of the enterprise are electrical installation works (NACE 43.21) and construction of residential and non-residential buildings (NACE 41.20). Within the scope of the project, which will be implemented at the company’s office in the town of Rakovski, it is planned to construct a photovoltaic power plant for self-consumption with an installed capacity of 15 kW, combined with local energy storage facilities with a total capacity of 18.9 kWh. The system will supply part of the electricity required for the administrative and operational needs of the company and will enable efficient management of the produced energy through storage and use during periods of increased demand. In addition, two high-efficiency air-to-air heat pumps with capacities of 12 kW and 13 kW will be installed to serve the office building, providing energy-efficient heating and cooling with significantly lower energy consumption. The implementation of the investment will lead to a reduction in total electricity consumption from the external grid, a decrease in carbon emissions, optimization of energy processes, and an overall improvement of the company’s energy performance. The project will contribute to achieving the objectives of the “Competitiveness and Innovations in Enterprises” Programme 2021–2027 by promoting the sustainable energy transition, reducing energy intensity, and enhancing the competitiveness of Bulgarian enterprises. In the long term, the investment will have a positive economic and environmental impact, increase the energy independence of ENERGO BR Ltd., and create prerequisites for sustainable development and reduction of the company’s carbon footprint.
