DIS LTD specializes in the production of refrigeration, commercial and ventilation equipment intended for various segments of the food industry. This includes equipment for grocery stores, manufacturing enterprises in the food industry and restaurant facilities. The company's production base is located in the industrial zone of the city of Gabrovo. The main energy consumption of the company is related to the old, poor-quality and already compromised insulation of the building's roof. The negative effect of heat losses is especially intensified during the winter months with increasing electricity prices, while the high level of moisture in the base affects the quality of the manufactured products. In order to meet the above challenges and to be able to improve its energy efficiency, the company is applying under procedure BG16RFPR001-2.004 "Energy efficiency and use of energy from renewable sources in enterprises". Within the framework of the project proposal, it is planned to implement thermal insulation of the roof of the building using a combined thermal insulation system - sandwich panels for the roof, according to the List of Eligible Asset Categories.
