Description

"Danipak" Ltd. produces and sells polymer packaging - different types of bags with various sizes. The company keeps large amounts of foil in stock, due to the large variety and size range of products it manufactures.
"Danipak" Ltd. specializes in producing foil and bags with different types of micro- and macroperforation for packaging of fruits, vegetables, foods, and group packaging. The production process is designed so the company can complete small orders in short duration. The process consumes large amounts of electric power, which determines the need for investment in the use of energy from renewable sources.
Our economic activity code is only one - 22.22 - Production of plastic packaging and the project activities will be implemented under the same code.
Within the framework of the project implementation, we plan to invest in Local Energy Storage Facilities (batteries) in combination with inverter/s according to point 15 of the List of Eligible Asset Categories under the procedure.
The facilities will be connected to an already existing combined heat and power plant at the enterprise, the energy from which is used solely for its own consumption.
Their commissioning will contribute to the balance in the produced power of the photovoltaic plant and will help overcome one of the disadvantages of renewable sources, namely intermittent production.
As a result of the implementation of the project, an increase in the use of energy from renewable sources for the enterprise's own needs will be achieved.
This will contribute both to increasing competitiveness and to the implementation of the Energy Union's objectives of secure, sustainable, competitive and affordable energy.
