Description

The project Increasing energy efficiency and using energy from renewable sources at "LOGISCARE BULGARIA" LTD addresses the growing need for predictable energy costs and a reliable power supply environment for 24/7 digital services (GPS/IoT monitoring, servers, network infrastructure) in the company's production and warehouse base. The daily load is high and concentrated during working hours (offices, test lines, air conditioning/ventilation, lighting), which makes the site sensitive to price and seasonal fluctuations.
Objectives:
1. Reduce final grid consumption and electricity costs.
2. Increase self-consumption through local daily generation, tailored to the load profile.
3. Smooth out peaks and increase operational reliability of critical IT processes.
4. Reduce carbon footprint and support sustainable growth.
Main measure: construction of a 55 kW photovoltaic power plant (PVPP) for self-consumption, with photovoltaic modules, inverters and all necessary structural and electrical safety elements, configured without returning energy to the grid (anti-export). The PVPP will mainly cover office/IT and server loads, production/test areas, lighting, HVAC and auxiliary consumers. (A possibility for future integration of batteries for additional peak smoothing is envisaged.)
Main activities: energy and technical audit; design; delivery and installation of PVPP; start-up and commissioning; staff training; setup of online monitoring/dashboards for production and consumption with rules for maximum self-consumption; service and maintenance plan.
Expected results: significant reduction of grid consumption and operating costs; more stable energy profile with lower peaks and lower risk of outages; more reliable operation of servers and communication systems; better working conditions and predictable SLAs to customers; lower CO₂ emissions and a stronger corporate image as a sustainable supplier.
