“VETEYDA 2” Ltd is a company with long-standing experience in the production of upper and lower garments (NACE 14.13). The enterprise operates its own sewing workshop located in the city of Vratsa, at 1 “Dragan Tsankov” Street – within the Northwestern region, identified as a priority area for support under the Programme “Competitiveness and Innovations in Enterprises 2021–2027” (PCIE). The production activity is electricity-intensive and involves continuous operation of numerous electrical devices, including sewing machines, embroidery machines, two ironing tables with steam generators, air conditioners, dehumidifiers, disc cutters, as well as electrical appliances in the staff and rest areas. The energy load remains constant during the working day, with pronounced daytime peaks in electricity consumption. Currently, the company has no on-site power generation capacity and is entirely dependent on the national electricity grid, which results in high operational costs and limited predictability of production planning. Through this project, the applicant intends to construct a photovoltaic power plant (PVPP) for self-consumption with an inverter capacity of 20 kW (AC). The system will include photovoltaic panels, an inverter, and all necessary protection and control equipment, operating in self-consumption mode with a zero-export option (no electricity fed into the grid). All assets will be new, certified, and compliant with the minimum functional and technical requirements listed under the Eligible Assets (Group 15/16). The implementation of the project will result in: - commissioning of a 20 kW (AC) PVPP for self-consumption; - reduction of grid electricity import and energy costs by more than 25%; - stabilization of power supply for production machinery and improved energy efficiency; - reduction of indirect CO₂ emissions and contribution to the green transition objectives; - improved competitiveness and long-term sustainability of the enterprise.
