The main objective of the current project is to provide energy from renewable sources for self-consumption, with the aim of increasing the energy efficiency and competitiveness of the microenterprise EURO NANS Ltd., whose main economic activity under NACE-2008 code 56.10 is “Restaurant and fast food service activities.” EURO NANS Ltd. anticipates a significant increase in the capacity of Restaurant Pizzeria Gusto and, accordingly, expects a considerable rise in electricity consumption. This project includes an investment under Group 16 “Photovoltaic Power Plant (PVPP) (including solar panels, inverters, batteries, and other components necessary for the operation of the plant)” from Annex 4.1., which will contribute to the company’s transition toward climate neutrality, reduction of its carbon footprint, and sustainable development. The project foresees the construction of a photovoltaic power plant with a nominal active capacity of 59.63 kW, located on the roof of the enterprise’s own building, which will ensure high efficiency and minimal transmission losses. Combined with a local energy storage facility, the system will provide uninterrupted green energy supply, including in the event of a power outage from the electricity grid. This is critically important for the restaurant’s operations, which serve customers and host events that require reliable and continuous electricity supply. The project is fully aligned with the objectives of procedure BG16RFPR001-2.004 “Energy efficiency and use of renewable energy in enterprises,” as it promotes the use of green energy and optimizes energy consumption.
