Megainvest - hold Ltd., a road construction and winter road maintenance company, proposes a rooftop 100 kW photovoltaic system on its equipment repair hall, combined with 35 kW local energy storage and dedicated inverters, an energy management and monitoring platform, and zero-export capability where required by the grid operator. The intervention addresses high and volatile electricity costs, operational risks from power quality issues, and the need for assured readiness of specialized machinery during the winter season. The PV modules will have efficiency ≥ 20%, a product warranty ≥ 12 years, first-year degradation ≤ 3%, and linear degradation guarantees of ≤ 0.6% per year for monofacial modules or ≤ 0.5% per year for bifacial modules for at least 25 years. Inverters will meet European weighted efficiency ≥ 96%, THD ≤ 5%, DC string voltage ≤ 1500 VDC, and product warranty ≥ 10 years, and will provide data logging of production and use. The storage system will operate at ambient 0–45°C, with product warranty ≥ 5 years, performance warranty ≥ 10 years, and storage inverters with product warranty ≥ 10 years. The project will improve reliability of power supply for welding, lifting and diagnostic equipment, reduce unplanned downtime, enhance availability of the machinery fleet and decrease indirect emissions associated with purchased electricity, while complying with applicable safety and grid requirements.
