The project proposal of BKS-STROITEL Ltd. is aimed at improving energy efficiency in the company’s production facility for concrete mixtures, located in Elin Pelin Municipality. The main objective is to reduce energy consumption and the carbon footprint through the implementation of energy-saving measures. The planned activities include repairing and insulating the roof structure, and installing external wall insulation for the buildings. The implementation of these measures will lead to lower specific energy costs per unit of output, optimization of the production process, and the achievement of more sustainable operations. As a result, the company will significantly reduce its energy expenses, increase energy independence, and improve its environmental profile. Expected outcomes include reduced production costs, enhanced competitiveness, and sustainable development in line with the principles of the circular economy. The project is fully aligned with the objectives of procedure BG16RFPR001-2.004 “Energy Efficiency and Use of Renewable Energy in Enterprises” under the Competitiveness and Innovation in Enterprises Programme 2021–2027, contributing both to environmental protection and sustainable economic growth.
