Description

The project proposal of ET “Proektstroy – Petar Petrov – Petya Pateva” aims to enhance the company’s energy efficiency and sustainability by implementing energy-efficient solutions based on renewable energy sources for self-consumption. The investment will be implemented in Gabrovo, “Koleva Livada” area No. 1, where the company’s main production facility is located.

The enterprise is engaged in the production of construction mixtures (concrete, lime, mortars), trade and storage of construction materials, as well as related services such as a vehicle inspection station, car wash, reinforcement yard, and a workshop for aluminum and PVC joinery and insulating glass units. The main energy consumers include the concrete plant, lime facility, portal cranes, climate control and lighting systems, making the activity energy-intensive and highly sensitive to fluctuations in electricity prices.

The project includes an investment under Group 16 of the List of Eligible Assets – a photovoltaic system with an installed panel capacity of 60.30 kWp (DC), a hybrid inverter rated at 60 kW (AC), and an energy storage battery with a capacity of 61.4 kWh, designed for self-consumption. The system will generate electricity from renewable sources to meet the company’s energy needs and will provide the capability to store and use the produced energy during peak load hours. The generated electricity will be used entirely on-site to power production equipment, heating, cooling, and lighting, with the system expected to cover a significant share of annual consumption and improve the stability of power supply.

The implementation of the project will enable the enterprise to reduce electricity costs, increase energy independence, and lower its carbon footprint by transitioning to cleaner and more sustainable energy solutions.

The project is fully consistent with the objectives of the procedure and will contribute to building a more sustainable, competitive, and low-carbon economy.
