MEDICAL CENTER PAN SANUS SD Ltd. is an established medical facility for specialized outpatient medical care. The company operates in Sofia, at two locations – at 95 Odrin Street and 13 Balkanji Yovo Street. The main economic activity of the company is according to NACE-2008: 86.22 – Activities of medical specialists. The medical center offers comprehensive services in various specialties – internal medicine, cardiology, endocrinology, gastroenterology, neurology, obstetrics, and gynecology. The company's activities involve the constant operation of electro-medical equipment, laboratory and air conditioning equipment, lighting fixtures, and computer systems, which leads to significant electricity consumption. High energy dependence and increased electricity prices have a direct impact on the cost of medical services and the financial sustainability of the center. In order to reduce energy costs, increase energy independence, and contribute to the green transition, MEDICAL CENTER PAN SANUS SD Ltd. plans to implement a project involving the following investments: • Construction of a 20 kW photovoltaic power plant (PVP) designed to cover the medical center's own electricity consumption at 95 Odrin Street. • Installation of a local energy storage battery with a capacity of 60 kWh, which will allow the accumulation of electricity produced but not consumed by the PVPP. • Installation of an air-to-water heat pump with a capacity of 15 kW in the building at 95 Odrin Street and an air-to-water heat pump with a capacity of 10 kW in the center at 13 Balkandji Yovo Street. The implementation of the project will lead to the optimization of energy consumption, reduction of the carbon footprint, and improvement of the company's resilience to market fluctuations in energy prices.
