"Gi PLAST" Ltd. is a fast-growing company that operates both on the domestic and foreign markets and produces a full range of profile shapes made of plastic for construction. For the production of its products, the company uses technologically advanced automated machines that guarantee high quality and competitiveness of our products. The increase in the prices of electricity and other energy carriers in recent years has caused an increase in our production costs. This inevitably affected pricing and led to an increase in the prices of our final products. The result of this was a slowdown in the economic growth of the enterprise and a decrease in our competitiveness in international markets. As part of our strategy to overcome the problems identified in this way, "Gi PLAST" Ltd. has already invested its own funds in the construction of a photovoltaic power plant, which is used to cover the enterprise's own needs. Within the framework of this project proposal, it is planned to purchase and connect local energy storage facilities to the photovoltaic power plant already built in the enterprise. The expected results of the implementation of the activities envisaged under the project can be summarized in several directions: - Improving energy efficiency, as the electricity stored in the batteries during periods of lower electricity prices can be used during hours of higher consumption, when the price of electricity is higher; - Increasing the energy independence of the company by reducing its dependence on the electricity distribution network by combining the already built FtPP with local facilities for storing the produced electricity; - Achieving sustainable development of the company by reducing the carbon footprint and consistent implementation of green policies and regulations.
