MARIMPEX Ltd. is an enterprise whose main activity, according to NACE code 22.21, is the manufacture of plastic plates, sheets, tubes, and profiles. The company has long-standing experience in the manufacturing sector and a well-established market presence. It operates an integrated quality management system certified under ISO 9001:2000, ensuring high standards in production and management processes. With this project proposal, the company aims to improve energy efficiency and sustainability by implementing modern technical solutions to optimize energy consumption. The following measures will be introduced: - a VRF/VRV-type heat pump system; - thermal insulation for external walls and floors, total area 354 sq. m; - transparent enclosing structures (windows and doors), total area 72 sq. m; - compressed air system, including a compressor (18.5 kW), air receiver (3000 L), and an air dryer adapted to the system parameters. All activities and investments will be carried out in full compliance with applicable technical standards and regulatory requirements, and the project fully meets the mandatory minimum technical parameters set under this procedure. The investment will result in reduced energy consumption from conventional sources, lower greenhouse gas emissions, and higher competitiveness through more efficient resource use. The project will have a positive environmental, economic, and social impact. All project activities fully comply with the horizontal principles of Article 9 of Regulation (EU) No. 2021/1060 – gender equality, equal opportunities, non-discrimination, and sustainable development. It also adheres to the “Do No Significant Harm” principle, as it involves no activities with negative effects on the environment, climate, biodiversity, or human health.
