Description

"MENGOV & SON" Ltd. is a company specializing in the production of a wide range of sheet metal products: currency boards, gas and petrol pumps, transport racks, lighting fixtures, mailboxes, metal cabinets, metal electrical boards, cash registers, telecommunications boxes, fences, railings, metal racks, casino equipment, standing and illuminated advertising panels, billboards, etc. The activity is carried out in its own production facility in the city of Sofia.

As a manufacturing company in which the energy component has a significant share in the cost of production, "MENGOV & SON" Ltd. is faced with challenges related to high energy intensity, instability of electricity prices and dependence on external suppliers.

To address these challenges, in accordance with the objectives of procedure BG16RFPR001-2.004 "Energy efficiency and use of energy from renewable sources in enterprises", the project envisages the following investments:
1. Construction and commissioning of a system of photovoltaic panels in combination with an inverter with a capacity of 50 kWp - item 14 of the List of eligible asset categories.
2. Delivery and commissioning of a Local energy storage facility (battery) in combination with an inverter, with a capacity of 61.44 kWh - item 15 of the List of eligible asset categories.

The implementation of the investment will ensure sustainable and predictable energy supply for production activities, reduce electricity costs and increase the competitiveness of the enterprise through the use of green energy from renewable sources.

The total value of the planned investments is 131,257.22 BGN, and the duration of the project is 12 months.
