The main objective of the current project proposal is to improve energy efficiency and promote the use of energy from renewable sources (RES) in NASLADA-92 Ltd. thereby accelerating the transition towards climate neutrality through reducing the carbon footprint, optimizing energy consumption, and increasing the share of RES in the company’s energy mix. The proposal envisages the implementation of the following energy-efficient measures: 1. Construction of a photovoltaic power plant for own consumption The activity will be implemented through the purchase of photovoltaic powerplant for own consumption, according to group 16 of Annex 4.1, consisting of solar panels, inverters and batteries, with an inverter capacity of 72 kW, as the acquisition of the planned assets will lead to a lasting reduction in the company’s energy intensity. NASLADA-92 Ltd. is part of the eligible target group under the procedure. The company is a small enterprise, carrying out its main activity under NACE code 10.72. Manufacture of crackers, biscuits and dry confectionery, which is characterized by high energy intensity and is among the sectors prioritized under the current procedure. The expected results of the investment are that NASLADA-92 Ltd. will improve its energy efficiency, expand the use of renewable energy sources for its own needs (including through the construction of a photovoltaic powerplant with integrated storage facilities), ensure reliable energy supply for its operations, reduce its carbon footprint, and strengthen both its competitiveness and long-term resilience. The proposal is fully compliant with the “do no significant harm” principle, contributing to the green transition and supporting the achievement of national and European climate and energy goals.
