The main subject of the project proposal is the implementation of an investment for the acquisition of the following energy-efficient equipment: - Heat pumps (according to group 2 of Annex 4.1); - Energy-efficient insulation systems in buildings (according to group 12 of Annex 4.1) - insulation and joinery; - Photovoltaic power plant (PVPP) (according to group 16 of Annex 4.1); - Local energy storage facilities (batteries) in combination with inverter/s (according to group 15 of Annex 4.1). The project will achieve the objectives of the procedure, as it will improve energy efficiency and promote the use of energy from renewable sources (RES) in the company, which will accelerate its transition to climate neutrality by reducing its carbon footprint, as well as optimize its energy consumption and increase RES in the energy mix of the company. The acquisition of energy-efficient equipment will help the company maintain its competitiveness, as well as continue with its investment intentions in the future. The project will be implemented on the territory of the Republic of Bulgaria. The investment will comply with the requirements of the principle of "no significant harm" to the environment, contributing to the ecological transition in the company's activities and the horizontal principles according to Art. 9 of Regulation (EU) No. 2021/1060. The investment will also contribute to achieving the overall cumulative energy savings target for the period 2021-2030, set out in the Integrated Energy and Climate Plan of the Republic of Bulgaria, as well as supporting the implementation of the Energy Union objectives for secure, sustainable, competitive and affordable energy. The expected results are expressed in increasing energy efficiency, reducing energy costs and emissions, as well as improving the environmental image of the company.
