The project proposal of "KiK" Ltd. includes the construction of 127 kW photovoltaic panels in combination with an inverter for the production of energy from a renewable source: solar energy. The photovoltaic panels will be installed on the roof of the building in which the company operates in the city of Plovdiv and will produce most of the energy needed to carry out the main economic activity of the company. The implementation of the investments will support the implementation of the goals of the company and the Energy Union for secure, sustainable, competitive and economically affordable energy. The investments under the project are in line with the requirements of the principle of "no significant harm" to the environment and will contribute to the ecological transition in the company's activities. As a result of the implementation of the project, we will achieve the following results: We will create our own capacity for the production of electricity from renewable energy sources (RES); We will create an environmentally friendly, renewable and independent source of energy; We will improve the energy efficiency of the company; We will improve the energy independence of the company's activities; We will reduce the dependence of production costs on the price of electricity; We will reduce our electricity costs, respectively the cost price of manufactured goods and offered services; We will save a significant amount of carbon emissions, which will reduce the carbon footprint of the company's activities; We will accelerate the transition of the company's activities to climate neutrality. With the implementation of the investments, the overall goal of the project will be achieved: improving energy efficiency, reducing energy intensity, optimizing energy consumption and increasing renewable energy in the energy mix of "KiK" OOD and accelerating the transition of the company's activities to climate neutrality by reducing the carbon footprint.
