The project of “DONCHO VASILEV – DV” EOOD envisages the construction of a photovoltaic power plant (PVPP) for own consumption and the implementation of energy efficiency measures by thermally insulating the roof structure of the service and administrative building at the company’s base. The company is a long-standing participant in the transport sector, with its main activity being freight transport, and has its own fleet, parking, repair hall and office area. The service base operates intensively, including repair, diagnostics and maintenance activities for heavy goods vehicles, which requires significant amounts of electricity for lighting, equipment, compressors, welding and other technical facilities. The construction of a photovoltaic system will allow the production of clean electricity from a renewable source, which will be used entirely for own consumption, partially covering the needs of the service halls and the administrative building. This will lead to a reduction in electricity costs, limiting the carbon footprint and increasing the energy independence of the enterprise. In parallel, a measure for thermal insulation of the roof will be implemented by installing energy-efficient sandwich panels, in order to reduce heat loss and improve the microclimate in the premises. This will increase the efficiency of the heating and air-conditioning systems and reduce operating costs. Through the implementation of the project, DONCHO VASILEV – DV EOOD will achieve optimization of energy consumption, reduction of production costs and sustainable improvement of its environmental profile. The project is in full compliance with the objectives of procedure BG16RFPR001-2.004, aimed at increasing energy efficiency and using energy from renewable sources.
