Description

The current project is part of the long-term policy of NIDEX ltd. for constant growth through regular implementation of high-tech and energy-efficient solutions. When carrying out its operational activities, as well as in the preparation and implementation of its projects, the company strives to integrate the requirements for environmental protection, resource efficiency, climate change mitigation and adaptation, sustainability and prevention, and risk management. The current situation places additional burden on investments in energy-efficient solutions in production processes, as they can have a decisive impact on the recovery process from the economic and social damage caused by the coronavirus pandemic and the war in Ukraine.
The project will introduce the following energy-efficient systems and equipment:
- EPS thermal insulation boards for external walls - 310 sq. m.
- Air-to-water heat pump - 1 pc.
The activities will be implemented in a company building related to laboratory research, part of the production process of NIDEX ltd.. Currently, the building does not have thermal insulation, which leads to significant energy losses both in heating and cooling the premises. In addition, during the winter months, heating is carried out by a coal-fired boiler, which does not provide the ability to automatically maintain an appropriate temperature, which in turn leads to increased costs and significant environmental pollution. With the implementation of the project and receipt of aid under the procedure, the enterprise will improve its energy efficiency, thus helping to overcome the economic consequences of the pandemic and the war, increasing competitiveness and reducing its energy intensity.
