DIK Ltd., owner of the hotel and restaurant "Kiparis" in the town of Smolyan, plans to make an investment to replace existing window frames, installed in 2006, with new high-performance window frames made of aluminum profiles with a thermal break and double glazing with improved thermal performance. The hotel operates year-round and includes a restaurant, a SPA area and conference rooms, which require maintaining a comfortable microclimate. Replacing the old window frames with energy-efficient ones will lead to a reduction in heat loss in winter, limiting overheating in summer and an overall reduction in energy consumption for heating and cooling.
