"Kramas" Ltd. has been offering home-made noodles and pasta since 2009. The company is constantly investing and expanding its activities, with which it strives to realize the available potential of knowledge and experience in the production of foods from flour and semolina from cereals (wheat, oats, rye, barley etc.) and non-cereal (beans, lentils, peas, soybeans, chickpeas, buckwheat, etc.) vegetable crops. The project supports this main (and only) economic activity of the applicant. Since 2020, major investments have been made in expanding production. Improvements have been made in the energy efficiency of the building stock. However, energy continues to occupy a relatively high share in the cost price, and the current project aims to reduce electricity costs. The project envisages the construction of 2 PPSs with inverters (and without batteries) with a total minimum capacity of 147 kW for own consumption of the produced electricity. They are planned to be installed in two properties owned by the company (production facilities), used for its main activity and located in different parts of the city of Gabrovo, namely: - 87 kW at 14A Yovchevtsi Street and - 60 kW at 10 Stoletov Blvd. The forecast envisages achieving a potential for realizing over 43% annual savings of the electricity used by the network, and the payback period for the investment to be up to about 5 years. As a component of production costs, the required electricity with its price affects the cost of production and, accordingly, the amount of added value. The savings from electricity bills will provide buffers for absorbing unfavorable economic dynamics; an opportunity to retain and penetrate markets by lowering the price of production; opportunity to plan and implement investments for the development of the enterprise.
