The project proposal of INFOSYSTEMS INTERNATIONAL . aims to improve the company’s energy efficiency and sustainability through the use of renewable energy sources. The investment will be implemented at the company’s administrative site located in Sofia, 105A Prof. Tsvetan Lazarov Blvd., where its core activity in information technology and software development is carried out. The project consists of two main investment components: 1. Construction of a photovoltaic system on solar canopies – The project envisages the installation of a photovoltaic system with a total panel capacity of 36.8 kW (AC power 40 kW) designed to cover the company’s own electricity needs. The photovoltaic modules will be mounted on solar canopies located within the site, providing dual functionality – electricity generation and covered parking spaces for employees and visitors. 2. Construction of an energy storage system – A battery energy storage system with a total capacity of 92.2 kWh (2 × 46.1 kWh) will be installed to store and utilise electricity during peak hours, ensuring balance between generation and consumption, voltage stability, and uninterrupted power supply for critical IT and climate control equipment. The generated electricity will be used entirely on-site for powering computer and climate systems, office equipment, and for heating and cooling needs. The building has a grid connection capacity of 220 kW, which allows for the unhindered connection of both the photovoltaic system and the battery storage unit to the distribution network. The implementation of the project will enable the company to reduce its electricity costs, increase energy independence and operational resilience, and improve its environmental performance through lower carbon emissions. The project fully complies with the objectives of the Procedure and contributes to the transition towards a sustainable and low-carbon economy.
