The project proposal of UCHMAG Ltd aims to improve the company’s energy efficiency and sustainability by implementing a renewable energy solution for self-consumption. The company’s main activity is retail trade in educational and didactic materials, school supplies and equipment for educational institutions, which requires continuous electricity use for lighting, office equipment, heating, air conditioning and warehouse operations. To achieve higher energy efficiency, the company plans to install a photovoltaic power plant (PV system) with an installed capacity of 50 kWp, designed entirely for self-consumption. The system will be mounted on the roof structure of the company’s commercial and storage building and will include all necessary components – photovoltaic panels, inverters, supporting structure and electrical equipment ensuring safe and efficient operation. The implementation of the project will result in: • significant reduction of electricity costs, • increased energy independence and reduced dependence on external suppliers, • lower carbon footprint and reduction of greenhouse gas emissions, • enhanced long-term sustainability and competitiveness of the company. The project fully complies with the objectives of procedure BG16RFPR001-2.004 “Energy Efficiency for SMEs”, contributing to the implementation of national and EU energy efficiency and renewable energy policies, as well as the transition towards a low-carbon economy.
