"Meta 8" Ltd. is a company for the production of metal structures and steel products, located in the industrial zone of the town of Pavlikeni, 14 Shipka Street. The company owns a property with an area of 55.44 decares and a built-up area of over 15 decares, in which it develops its activities. As a result of significant investments, the expansion of production and the creation of new jobs, the company holds a certificate for a class A investor. The current project is aimed at improving the energy efficiency and sustainability of one of the company's buildings, which houses the administration, the canteen and kitchen for workers and employees, living quarters for workers, changing rooms, and recreation areas. The building is three-story, built in 1969, and has not been renovated so far. In recent years, the company has invested its own funds in internal renovation, new joinery and a thermally insulated roof, and now the project is to implement external thermal insulation of the facade walls (1100 m²) with a 100 mm EPS system, meeting all European standards and the minimum requirements of the program. The second measure includes the installation of flat solar collectors for the production of domestic hot water, intended for the needs of the staff. The system will have high-efficiency pumps, filters and automatic control, providing hot water throughout the year with minimal energy costs. The implementation of the project will improve the energy balance of the building, reduce heating and water heating costs and support the company's transition to "green" and low-carbon production, without compromising on working conditions and employee comfort.
