The overall objective of the project is to improve the energy efficiency of Metix Ltd. by purchasing heat pumps for heating and cooling the production premises and construction and renovation activities for the construction of energy-efficient insulation systems in buildings, as a factor for reducing the energy intensity of the company, accelerating the transition to climate neutrality, sustainable growth and increasing the competitive advantages of the company. The overall objective will be implemented through the following specific objectives: - increasing the energy efficiency of the building stock by carrying out construction and renovation activities for the replacement of doors and windows; - increasing the energy efficiency of the production department by purchasing and installing 10 heat pumps; - reducing the energy intensity of the company by implementing 10 heat pumps in the activity, which are high-class energy-efficient equipment and will be powered by the green energy produced by the company's own photovoltaic power plant; - reducing the costs of the activity by purchasing energy-efficient heat pumps and by carrying out construction and renovation activities for the construction of energy-efficient insulation systems in buildings. The specific project objectives will be achieved through the purchase of 10 heat pumps and implementation of construction activities for the construction of energy-efficient insulation systems in buildings. The investment within the project will be implemented for a period of 12 months and is also in line with the country's goals for the transition of the private sector to climate neutrality by reducing the carbon footprint.
