ET ELMAR TRAVEL-MALINA DONKOVA operates under the NIC 55.10 Hotels and similar accommodation facilities, serving Bulgarian and foreign tourists. The services offered are divided into two areas: hotel accommodation and restaurant services. The current project is in implementation of the objectives of the procedure "Energy efficiency and use of energy from renewable sources in enterprises" - to provide focused support to Bulgarian enterprises to improve their energy efficiency and promote the use of energy from renewable sources (RE), thereby accelerating the transition of the private sector to climate neutrality. In order to achieve greater energy independence and transition to environmentally friendly activities, after conducting procedures for selecting a contractor, investments will be made to increase the energy efficiency of the building and use of renewable sources for heat production. The investments include: - Installation of vacuum tube collectors with a total area of 50 sq. m. for heat production; - Laying a thermal insulation system of sandwich panels for a roof with an area of 160 sq. m.; - Replacing compromised transparent enclosing structures – windows and doors, with a total area of 70 sq. m. with new energy-efficient ones. The planned measures will overcome the limitations to the future development of the company by reducing energy consumption for heating and hot water, improving thermal comfort in the building and allowing the use of environmentally friendly energy for its own needs. This will increase the efficiency of the overall energy consumption system. The new investments will allow the company to ensure a stable energy supply, minimize energy costs and continuity of the service provision process, which will make it more competitive in the market. The investments under the procedure comply with the requirements of the principle of "no significant harm" to the environment and will contribute to the country's ecological transition.
