Description

"HYGIENNO-MEDITSINSKA INDUSTRIYA" OOD (KID 20.41) is a leading manufacturer of cleaning and disinfection products for professional and mass use. With extensive experience and innovative technologies, the company ensures a high standard of cleanliness and healthy hygiene.

The project proposal is aimed at building a photovoltaic power plant with an installed capacity of 50 kW, with a storage battery, intended for the production of electricity for own consumption at the company's production facility, located in the city of Veliko Tarnovo. The project seeks to reduce electricity costs, increase energy independence, and contribute to environmental protection by lowering carbon emissions.

The system will include high-efficiency PV panels mounted on the roof, inverters, mounting structures, cabling, electrical protections, and a monitoring system to control the produced and consumed energy. All electricity generated will be used internally, without feeding into the grid.

The 50 kW PV plant is expected to produce approximately 65 MWh annually, covering about 25–30% of the facility’s electricity needs. This will significantly reduce operating costs, improve competitiveness, and support sustainable production. Environmentally, the project will reduce CO₂ emissions by around 40 tons per year, contributing to national and European green transition goals.

The implementation of the PV plant will enhance the energy efficiency of production, strengthen the long-term energy security of the enterprise, and demonstrate a commitment to sustainable, low-carbon operations.
