The implementation of this project will satisfy the need to achieve higher energy efficiency in DGR International EOOD, which will accelerate the company's transition to climate neutrality by reducing its carbon footprint, optimizing energy consumption and better managing related costs. The project is aimed at increasing energy independence in the company's production base by acquiring and implementing an asset with a demonstrable energy effect - photovoltaic panels in combination with inverters for own consumption with power of 160kW. It is planned to acquire ground-based photovoltaic panels and the corresponding inverters, with the installation sized according to the company's consumption profile, in order to maximally cover its own electricity needs during operating hours of the production and administrative units. The measures are for own consumption, without creating capacity for commercial energy sales, and aim to reduce specific energy consumption and greenhouse gas emissions, reduce operating costs and stabilize the energy price per unit of production. The planned investment will lead to a partial substitution of electricity from the grid with energy from renewable sources, reducing the company's sensitivity to price fluctuations on the electricity market. This will result in a permanent decrease in electricity prices, improved cost predictability and increased sustainability and competitiveness of the company in domestic and foreign markets. The expected result is a significant reduction in annual net consumption from the grid and related greenhouse gas emissions, increased energy independence and achievement of price stability. The implementation of the project will support the sustainable activities of DGR International EOOD, will create prerequisites for subsequent investments in modernization and expansion of production capacity.
