The project proposal of “Slaveya” Ltd. is aimed at improving the energy efficiency and competitiveness of the enterprise through the implementation of energy-efficient technology based on renewable energy sources. The project foresees the construction of a 40 kW photovoltaic power plant for self-consumption, combined with an energy storage system corresponding to and covering the full capacity of the plant. The system will be used exclusively for the company’s own needs, will not be subject to commercial energy trading, and will directly supply the production activities of “Slaveya” Ltd. The project aims to reduce the company’s energy dependence, optimize operational costs, and decrease the carbon footprint of its furniture manufacturing process — an activity characterized by high energy consumption. By utilizing solar energy and local energy storage, the company will achieve more stable and predictable energy consumption, ensuring uninterrupted production and better resource management. The implementation of this renewable energy source will lead to lower energy intensity, greater resource efficiency, and a more sustainable business environment, in line with the national and European goals for energy transition and climate neutrality. The investment fully complies with the “Do No Significant Harm” principle and supports the achievement of national energy efficiency objectives. The project proposal is also consistent with the principles of equality and equal opportunities for all. As a result of its implementation, “Slaveya” Ltd. will achieve significant energy savings, enhance its competitiveness, and create the foundation for long-term sustainable growth.
