“NK Trade 2” Ltd. is a company whose main activity is retail trade in non-specialized stores, predominantly with food products (NACE 47.11). The enterprise operates a supermarket in the city of Stara Zagora, which is the main site of the present project proposal. The project is implemented under procedure BG16RFPR001-2.004 “Energy Efficiency and Use of Renewable Energy in Enterprises” within the Programme “Competitiveness and Innovations in Enterprises” 2021–2027. The main objective is to increase the company’s energy efficiency and reduce its carbon footprint through the introduction of modern energy-saving technologies and modernization of the infrastructure. The planned investments include: -replacement of 66 linear lighting fixtures and 70 high-bay projectors with energy-efficient LED lighting; -installation of a high-efficiency heat pump system with direct evaporation, with a capacity of 100 kW, for heating and cooling of the commercial site; -replacement of outdated doors with sectional industrial doors and external solid doors, with a total area of 13.80 sq.m., providing better thermal insulation and reduced energy losses. The implementation of the project will lead to a significant reduction in energy consumption, optimization of electricity costs, and improvement of the working environment. The expected effect includes a substantial decrease in greenhouse gas emissions, higher resource efficiency, and a contribution to the achievement of circular economy objectives and sustainable development.
