The project of NEKSAS Ltd. envisages the implementation of measures to increase energy efficiency on the territory of the company. The company carries out its main activity under Economic Activity code 25.99 - "Manufacture of other metal products, not elsewhere classified". With the aim of sustainable development and reducing energy costs, the project proposal includes the purchase and commissioning of four local energy storage facilities (batteries) in combination with inverters, whereby they will be a suitable and useful addition to the already available FPP in the company, which is used entirely for its own needs. The wishes of the company are in line with the objectives of the current procedure, since "Neksas" - with this investment - aims to implement the batteries in order to ensure more efficient use of RES - when the FPP is not operating due to lack of sunlight, the energy in the batteries is used. The implementation of these measures will lead to a significant reduction in energy consumption from non-renewable sources, improving the energy efficiency of the production process and increasing the competitiveness of the company. The expected results of the project implementation include: reduction of energy consumption and related operating costs; increase of energy efficiency in the main production and support activities; improvement of the working environment; reduction of the carbon footprint of the enterprise. The investment is in full compliance with the principle of "doing no significant harm" (DNSH) on the environment, meets all applicable environmental standards and contributes to achieving the goals of energy efficiency and sustainable growth at the national and European level. By implementing this project, NEKSAS Ltd. will increase its resource efficiency, improve the sustainability of its production and adapt to modern requirements for a low-carbon and energy-efficient economy.
