The project envisages the implementation of measures to improve energy efficiency within the company. The enterprise operates under NACE code 68.20 – “Rental and operating of own or leased real estate”, with the investment targeted at the administrative building managed by the company in Sofia. The enterprise plans to purchase and put into operation 1 air-cooled chiller with a capacity of 200 kW, 2 recuperative units for heating, ventilation and cooling with an airflow capacity of 3000 m³/h, as well as a photovoltaic system with inverters with a capacity of 20 kW. These investments will enhance the energy efficiency of the building and reduce the company’s energy costs. The long-term benefits of the project include optimization of operating expenses, sustainable use of resources, and improvement of the corporate image of the applicant. The project will be implemented in a property owned by the enterprise. The expected impact is to accelerate the transition to climate neutrality by improving the energy efficiency and energy independence of the applicant. The investment fully complies with the “Do No Significant Harm” (DNSH) principle, meets all applicable environmental standards, and contributes to achieving the objectives of energy efficiency and sustainable growth at both national and EU levels. The introduction of a high-efficiency chiller, recuperative units and a photovoltaic system will not only reduce current energy expenditures but also improve the indoor climate conditions for tenants and employees in the building. This will increase the company’s competitiveness in the real estate management sector and create prerequisites for sustainable development in line with European green transition policies. Through the implementation of the present project, “ADMINISTRATIVE BUILDING BOYANA” JSC will increase its resource efficiency, reduce its carbon footprint, and adapt to the modern requirements of a low-carbon and energy-efficient economy.
