Description

The project proposal of “GLOBAL GRANIT” Ltd. aims to enhance the company’s energy efficiency, sustainability, and competitiveness through the construction of a photovoltaic power plant (PV system) with an installed capacity of 50 kWp and an energy storage system with a capacity of 50 kWh for self-consumption. The system will include solar panels, inverters, batteries, and the necessary infrastructure, ensuring efficient production, storage, and utilization of electricity generated from renewable sources.

“GLOBAL GRANIT” Ltd. operates in the field of trade and processing of stone and stone products, including marble, granite, and engineered stone. The company’s production processes are characterized by significant and constant electricity consumption, which creates a strong dependence on external energy suppliers and exposes the business to fluctuations in electricity prices.

The implementation of the project will enable the enterprise to cover a large portion of its daily electricity demand through its own renewable energy production. The expected annual output of the PV system is approximately 65,000 – 70,000 kWh, which will lead to a substantial reduction in electricity costs and improve the company’s energy independence.

The 50 kWh energy storage system will provide the ability to store surplus electricity generated during periods of high solar activity and utilize it during peak consumption hours or times of reduced production. This will improve energy flow management and ensure more stable and efficient operation of the production facilities.

The implementation of the project will have a long-term economic and environmental impact — it will reduce the company’s carbon footprint, contribute to the sustainable development of its operations, and position “GLOBAL GRANIT” Ltd. as an innovative and responsible enterprise applying green technologies within its production processes.
