Description

Stroykomplekt-MD EOOD is an established commercial enterprise with main economic activity 47.59 – Retail sale of furniture, lighting fixtures and other household goods. The company is an importer of the Austrian lighting fixtures Globo Lighting and the Romanian brands Smarter and Redo, as well as a distributor of leading manufacturers of consumables and industrial lighting such as Philips, Osram, Ultralux, Vivalux and others, offering complete solutions for residential and industrial sites.
The company develops its activities in its own commercial and warehouse facilities, located on three floors with a total area of over 4,000 sq. m., where retail and wholesale trade, warehousing, shipping and customer service are carried out. The significant area of the building and the specific operating mode lead to high energy consumption related to lighting, heating/cooling and power supply of equipment and machinery.
With this project, Stroykomplekt-MD EOOD plans to build a photovoltaic power plant with a battery energy storage system with an installed capacity of 60 kW for its own consumption in the city of S. Z.. The goal is to increase energy efficiency and increase the share of energy used from renewable sources, which will lead to a reduction in electricity costs, a reduction in the carbon footprint and an improvement in the sustainability of the enterprise.
The project proposal is in line with the objectives of the Program "Competitiveness and Innovation in Enterprises" 2021–2027,which aims to accelerate the transition of the private sector to climate neutrality by reducing the carbon footprint, optimizing energy consumption and increasing renewable energy in the energy mix of enterprises. This investment will also contribute to achieving the overall cumulative energy savings target for the period 2021-2030, set out in the Integrated Energy and Climate Plan of the Republic of Bulgaria, as well as the implementation of the objectives of the Energy Union.
