Description

BALDIS EOOD was registered in the year of 2009 with its headquarter in the city of Sliven. The main activity of the company is the production of socks and tights. The company sells its products on foreign markets - large retail chains from Italy and Germany. At the beginning of 2025, the company has invested and acquired its own production building in the city of Sliven, Industrial Zone district, located on a land with a total area of 6,500 sq.m., of which 2,000 sq.m. are built-up areas and represent a massive building with separate production premises, built before 1987.
The main objective of the project is to improve the energy efficiency of BALDIS EOOD through investments in energy-efficient insulation systems in buildings to accelerate the company's transition to climate neutrality, reduce the carbon footprint and optimize energy consumption. Specific objectives: to optimize the amount of electricity used by the company; to reduce electricity costs; to achieve a lower cost of manufactured products; to increase the competitiveness of the enterprise and to create prerequisites for the implementation of new investment intentions.
The investment that the company will implement is in line with the requirements of the principle of "do no significant harm" to the environment  to the environment and the achievement of climate sustainability, contributing to the ecological transition in the enterprise's activities.
The project is fully consistent with the main objective of the project selection procedure BG16RFPR001-2.004 and will contribute to achieving specific object: RSO2.1. Promoting energy efficiency and reducing greenhouse gas emissions (ERDF) of Priority: 2. Circular economy of the Competitiveness and Innovation in Enterprises Program 2021-2027, as well as to achieving specicif object (i) promoting energy efficiency and reducing greenhouse gas emissions, which is one of the Policy Objectives set at the European level.
