The project proposal of Ruvy Place Ltd. is aimed at improving energy efficiency and promoting the use of renewable energy sources through the installation of a photovoltaic power plant (PVPP) with a capacity of 60 kW and an energy storage system with a capacity of 60 kWh, intended for own consumption. The company operates in the field of mechanical processing of metal components, an activity characterized by high energy intensity due to the continuous operation of production machines and compressors. The average daily electricity consumption is approximately 350–400 kWh, or around 7.7 MWh per month. The significant share of electricity costs in the total production expenses necessitates the implementation of concrete measures to optimize energy consumption and reduce dependence on the volatile energy markets. By implementing this project, Ruvy Place Ltd. will achieve the generation of approximately 75 MWh of green energy per year, which will cover more than 50% of its own energy needs. The investment will result in a reduction of carbon dioxide emissions by approximately 40 tons per year and a decrease in electricity costs by around 30–35%. The energy storage system will enable the use of the generated energy during periods of low solar radiation, thereby increasing the company’s energy independence and production resilience. The project is fully aligned with the objectives of Procedure BG16RFPR001-2.004 and Priority 2 “Circular Economy” under the Competitiveness and Innovation in Enterprises Programme 2021–2027. Its implementation will contribute to the company’s transition to low-carbon production, support the achievement of the National Integrated Energy and Climate Plan, and encourage the adoption of sustainable production practices in the region of Lovech. The introduction of the photovoltaic system will generate long-term economic and environmental benefits, fully adhering to the principles of the European Green Deal and the circular economy.
