Project proposal of the company "METKER" Ltd. aims to increase the energy efficiency of the company by investing in: 1) implementation of external thermal insulation on walls (without floor) in a building located at: village of Kalipetrovo, Chanlaka area, on 210 Rashko Blaskov Str., administrative and business building, owned by the candidate company. Need for investment: the building is old, large, not renovated, leaks heat outside. Energy experts recommend starting with the installation of external and internal thermal insulation on walls and roof. In view of our short-term strategy, we have started with roof repair. As a next step and thanks to the financing under the current procedure, we will continue with the installation of thermal insulation on 945.5 sq. m. of EPS type thermal insulation on external walls. The implementation of these measures will have a direct: - financial effect and reduced electricity costs (30% to -40% of heating/cooling costs). - Energy effect (Saved kWh/year: 25–30 kWh/m²∙year) - Will increase the energy class of the building and increase its thermal insulation characteristics. - Reduction of greenhouse gas emissions - Longer life of the building - More stable microclimate for workers in the building - Better image towards customers and tenants Investment in thermal insulation on external walls will lead to improvement of the energy performance of the building, and thus additional savings of primary energy, which will prove the expected long-term effect of the investment, namely: increasing the competitiveness of the applicant by reducing the company's overhead costs by 30-40%, compared to the current state and improving the operational characteristics of the building, the object of the investment. In this way, the acceleration of the transition to climate neutrality, as envisaged in the procedure, will be achieved by improving the energy efficiency and independence of the enterprise.
