The project proposal of the company "KVS" Ltd., with main economic activity 96.01 - Laundry and dry cleaning, is aimed at increasing energy efficiency and increasing the share of energy used from renewable sources in one of the company's facilities - a dry cleaning and laundry facility, located in the city of Sofia, Studentski Grad district, block 5, floor 1, with a total area of 160 sq.m., used entirely for the company's main activity. The proposal includes investments in energy-saving and RES equipment, which aim to reduce the total energy consumption and limit the carbon footprint of the company. It is planned to build a photovoltaic power plant (≈30 kWp) for own consumption, as well as purchase and implementation of energy-efficient air coolers (cooling capacity range 40). In addition, the existing facilities will be replaced with more efficient ones - a recuperative heating, ventilation and cooling unit (flow rate up to 3000 m³/h) and a heat pump (heating capacity 18.3). The implementation of these measures will lead to optimization of energy consumption, reduction of electricity costs and increase of energy independence through own production of green energy. The project will directly contribute to achieving the objectives of Procedure BG16RFPR001-2.004 "Energy efficiency and use of energy from renewable sources in enterprises", by supporting the transition to a low-carbon economy and sustainable development of the company's activities.
