The project of ELUX Ltd. aims at the construction of a photovoltaic power plant (PVPP) for the company’s own needs, in order to increase energy efficiency and to use renewable energy sources. The main objectives are to reduce electricity costs, optimize the energy mix, and decrease the company’s carbon footprint. The project foresees the supply and installation of a photovoltaic power plant for self-consumption with a capacity of 70 kW, combined with integrated local energy storage systems of 71.68 kwh. This will enable optimal management of the generated electricity and reduce dependency on the external grid. The system will be equipped with monitoring and control tools to ensure the optimal use of the produced energy. The installed capacity of the PVPP will be tailored to the current annual consumption, so that all generated electricity is used exclusively for the company’s own needs. The implementation of the project will lead to significant savings in electricity costs, strengthen the resilience of the business, and ensure compliance with European policies on circular economy and energy efficiency. The project is aligned with the requirements of the Operational Programme “Competitiveness and Innovation in Enterprises” 2021–2027, procedure BG16RFPR001-2.004 “Energy Efficiency and Use of Renewable Energy in Enterprises.”
