Planning region: All

Description

The project proposal envisages the construction of a photovoltaic power plant (PVPP) for own consumption on the roof of the applicant company’s hotel. The investment is aimed at providing sustainable, reliable and cost-effective energy for the hotel’s needs by using a renewable energy source – solar energy.
The PVPP will include photovoltaic panels, an inverter and an energy storage system with batteries, with the capacity of the batteries being equal to or greater than the installed capacity of the plant. This will ensure the full absorption and storage of the generated electricity and its use during peak hours or in the absence of sunlight. In this way, an optimal balance between energy production and consumption will be achieved and dependence on electricity supplied from the grid will be reduced.
The implementation of the project will lead to a significant reduction in electricity costs, an increase in the energy efficiency and sustainability of the enterprise, as well as a reduction in carbon emissions. The investment will also ensure higher energy security by guaranteeing a reserve of electricity in case of possible power outages.
The project will be implemented under the "De minima" regime and with a implementation period of up to 12 months. In its implementation, the company will comply with all requirements arising from horizontal EU policies, including the principle of no significant harm to the environment (DNSH) and the principles of equality and sustainable development.
