“Marinov” Ltd. is a company operating in the hotel and restaurant sector — areas of the economy characterized by high energy intensity. Enhancing energy efficiency is a key factor for the sustainable development of “Marinov” Ltd., particularly in the context of global climate change and the rising cost of service provision. The activities proposed under the current project are related to the company’s additional economic activity — hotel management. The project addresses the challenges of identifying and implementing sustainable solutions to improve energy efficiency by optimizing energy consumption and reducing the company’s carbon footprint. The planned investments include: Replacement of windows and doors on the ground floor of the building housing Hotel “Jupiter 1”; Supply and installation of one high-efficiency air-to-water heat pump system with domestic hot water capability and a minimum heating capacity of 10 kW; Supply and installation of one air-to-air heat pump with a heating capacity of 10 kW; Installation of photovoltaic panels combined with inverters, with a total capacity of 40 kW, for the generation of renewable (solar) electricity for own consumption. The implementation of these measures will foster faster and more sustainable growth of “Marinov” Ltd. by addressing key challenges that currently limit its competitiveness and delay its transformation into a low-carbon and resource-efficient enterprise. Through the realization of the project, the company will effectively respond to the need to reduce energy consumption and greenhouse gas emissions, thereby improving the overall energy performance of the facility and ensuring the long-term sustainability and resilience of its operations.
