Description

The company plans to construct a photovoltaic system with an installed capacity of 50 kW in combination with electricity storage facilities (batteries). The electricity produced from the Renewable Energy Source (RES) will be used for the needs of the "Romantika" hotel in Haskovo, and will not be fed into the grid. The integration of batteries will ensure effective management of the produced energy, including storage of surpluses for subsequent use during periods of high consumption or reduced sunlight.
The significant increase in the price of electricity and natural gas disrupts the functioning of almost all economic activities. Non-domestic end-users are faced with the prospect of higher energy bills at a time when this could affect their recovery and growth following the COVID-19 pandemic and the war in Ukraine.
The implementation of this investment aims to reduce energy costs and increase the company's competitiveness. It will free up financial resources for investments in innovation, modernization, and business expansion. The investment will contribute to job stability and potentially to the creation of new jobs by improving the company's market position. The realization of the project will help reduce the company's carbon footprint through the use of clean energy from renewable sources.
The investment will transform the "Romantika" hotel-restaurant into a facility with a high degree of energy autonomy, which will lead to:
1. Significant and lasting savings in energy costs.
2. Reduction of carbon emissions associated with grid-consumed energy.
3. Increased competitiveness through the reduction of operating costs.
The project is entirely in line with the priority axis of the procedure – promotion of energy efficiency and the use of RES in Bulgarian enterprises.
