ET "IVIL - Ivan Krastev" is a medium-sized enterprise with a main economic activity under the NIC 10.71 "Manufacture of bread and pastry products". The company already has a built photovoltaic system with an installed capacity of 200 kW, intended for its own consumption. At the moment, the produced electricity is not used in full due to the lack of a storage system, which leads to losses of part of the generated renewable energy resource and to incomplete realization of the investment potential. Due to the fact that production is energy-intensive, but active energy consumption is not evenly distributed within the working day, it is necessary, on the one hand, to make additional expenditure on electricity to external suppliers during busy hours, and on the other hand, energy is lost from own production during non-busy hours. With the implementation of this project, it is planned to purchase and implement local energy storage facilities (batteries) with a total capacity of 119 kW, in combination with the necessary inverters. This is the maximum allowable capacity under the procedure and will allow for effective management of energy flows, better load balancing and optimization of consumption in the enterprise. The expected results of the project are: - increasing the energy efficiency and competitiveness of the enterprise; - better absorption of the energy produced from renewable sources; - reducing energy costs and dependence on external suppliers; - reducing the carbon footprint and contributing to achieving the goals of the European Green Deal. The total budget of the project is 153.370,77 BGN, and the investment will ensure sustainable and long-term improvement in the management of the company's energy resources.
