The main activity of Gresia 2 EOOD is the trade of bathroom furniture and fittings. The company aims to optimize energy use with the goal of reducing harmful emissions released into the atmosphere. The current project is in fulfillment of the objectives of the procedure "Energy Efficiency and Use of Energy from Renewable Sources in Enterprises"—to provide focused support to Bulgarian enterprises for improving their energy efficiency and promoting the use of Renewable Energy Sources (RES), thereby accelerating the private sector's transition to climate neutrality. In order to achieve greater energy independence and transition to environmentally friendly activities, after conducting procedures for selecting a contractor, a PHOTOVOLTAIC POWER PLANT (INCLUDING SOLAR PANELS, INVERTERS, BATTERIES AND OTHER COMPONENTS NECESSARY FOR THE OPERATION OF THE PLANT with an inverter power of 40 kW for the company's own consumption of the commercial, warehouse and administrative areas) will be built. To overcome the limitations to the company's future development, solar panels and electricity storage facilities will be installed. This will allow the company to use ecologically clean energy for its own needs, to store the surplus energy produced by the PVPP, and to use it during power outages and as a supplementary energy source. This will increase the efficiency of the overall energy production and storage system. The new PVPP will ensure a stable energy supply, minimization of energy costs, and continuity of operations, which will make the company more competitive in the market. The investments under the procedure comply with the requirements of the "Do No Significant Harm" principle to the environment and will contribute to the country's ecological transition.
