Description

The current project is part of the long-term policy of SP NETI for constant growth through regular implementation of high-tech and energy-efficient solutions. When carrying out its operational activities, as well as in the preparation and implementation of its projects, the company strives to integrate the requirements for environmental protection, resource efficiency, climate change mitigation and adaptation, sustainability and prevention, and risk management. The current situation places additional weight on investments in energy-efficient solutions in production, as they can have a decisive impact on the recovery process from the economic and social damage caused by the coronavirus pandemic and the war in Ukraine. The following equipment is planned to be introduced:
- Chiller - 1 pc.
- Recuperators - 2 pcs.
The project activities are aimed at improving the energy efficiency of the company's production processes. NETI carries out its activities in code 38.32 Recycling of sorted waste and includes recycling of LDPE foil, PP, PVC and TPE thermoplastic elastomers. The company buys clean plastic, mainly technological waste, which is recycled to the form of milled or regranulated material. The products are sold as raw material for extrusion and injection molding of plastic products. The activity involves high energy consumption and significant heat release. Currently, the cooling of the granulation machine is carried out by a self-made cooling machine with low efficiency and high energy consumption per unit of product. On the other hand, the heat produced by the production process is not utilized and additional energy is used to heat the remaining premises. In this sense, with the implementation of the project, the enterprise will improve its energy efficiency and will be assisted in overcoming the economic consequences of the pandemic and the war, increasing competitiveness and reducing its energy intensity.
