Description

The project of SITI-D-EOOD envisions the implementation of measures to improve energy efficiency within the company’s premises. The company carries out an additional economic activity under NACE code 55.10 – Hotels and similar accommodation, and owns and operates a hotel in the town of Primorsko.

With the aim of sustainable development and reduction of energy costs, the project proposal includes the purchase of:
1) A local energy storage facility (battery) in combination with inverters, which will enhance the efficiency and increase the capacity of the already installed photovoltaic power plant, used entirely for the company's own needs;
2) Heat pumps, type VRF/VRV direct expansion system, designed for energy-efficient climate control of the premises.
The project is fully aligned with the objectives of the current procedure. With the planned investment, the company aims to increase the efficiency of renewable energy use, reduce energy consumption from non-renewable sources, improve energy efficiency, and enhance its competitiveness.

The expected results from the project implementation include: reduction in energy consumption and associated operational costs; improved energy efficiency of the core business operations; enhanced working environment; reduced carbon footprint of the company.
The investment fully complies with the “Do No Significant Harm” (DNSH) principle to the environment, meets all applicable environmental standards, and contributes to achieving the national and European goals for energy efficiency and sustainable growth.
By implementing this project, SITI-D-EOOD will improve its resource efficiency, enhance the sustainability of its operations, and align with modern requirements for a low-carbon and energy-efficient economy.
