"Tsilkov" Ltd. is one of the leading companies on the Bulgarian market in the production of cosmetics and personal hygiene products, with the main part of the final products being intended for export. The company operates in sector C "Manufacturing industry" with NACE code 2008 - 20.42 "Manufacturing of perfumes and toilet products". The energy intensity of the production of final products requires investments in energy saving, alternative energy sources and improving energy efficiency to optimize energy consumption. To meet the growing needs for electricity, "Tsilkov" Ltd. built a photovoltaic power plant for the production of energy from renewable sources for its own consumption with a capacity of 81.20 kW, but the lack of local energy storage facilities leads to its incomplete utilization. To address the needs of the company, this project proposal provides for: - Purchase of a new compressor with inverter control with a dryer and a power of 18.5 kW. - Purchase of a new receiver, for the needs of the compressor with a capacity of 1000 l. - Purchase of local energy storage facilities with a capacity of 90 kW. The planned investment complies with the requirements of the principle of "no significant harm" to the environment and contributes to the ecological transition by taking into account the six ecological objectives set out in Article 9 of the Taxonomy Regulation. Expected results: - Improving the energy efficiency of "Tsilkov" Ltd. - Optimization of energy consumption by replacing the used compressor and receiver, purchased more than 25 years ago. - Guaranteeing security, independence and flexibility of the company's energy system by fully utilizing the energy produced by the company's photovoltaic power plant. - Reducing the cost of the offered products and improving the competitiveness of the company.
